Introduced in England by Edward White Benson in 1880, “Lessons & Carols” has become a beloved tradition filled with the anticipation of Advent and the joy of Christmastide. During this celebration, the story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus is told in nine short Bible readings or lessons from Genesis, the prophetic books and the Gospels, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols, hymns, and choir anthems.
Join us in the church on Sunday, December 17th at 4:30pm. Dinner will be provided after the concert. Please bring a festive dessert to share!
