Join us on Saturday 12/7 for the third and final talk in the series “What is God’s Word? How the Church Reads Scripture.” Presenter John Bugbee will focus on how insights from the church’s tradition can help with the unique challenges facing Bible readers today. The talk will be in-person at the Basilica of St. Andrew in Roanoke; the basilica has invited Holy Comforter parishioners to visit for a special historian-led tour that day at 2PM, and the talk follows at 3:45PM. The talk will also be broadcast live downstairs at Holy Comforter, with 2-way videoconferencing, for those who can’t make the trip. For more info contact John Bugbee [email protected] or Melinda Wells, DRE. For carpooling, please contact HC Parishioner Suzanne Bailey, [email protected].
