The City of Charlottesville / Facilities Maintenance will be performing some HVAC work on the roof of the Central Library building during the last week in April. The City has hired a contractor for crane work to lift an HVAC unit to the roof of the Central Library. The crane work will require the City to close 3rd Street and the sidewalk next to our building on Monday, April 28, 2025. between the hours of 6:00am – 11:00am.
We apologize for the closure, but look forward to reopening on Tuesday, April 29th at 10:30am!
